IT for service providers

built for client data, for deadlines that can't be postponed and for the rush hour.

In a services company, the main asset is in files, in applications and in the relationship of trust with the client. When the infrastructure fails, delivery to clients stops, usually right before a legal deadline that can't be postponed. In HoReCa, the same failure shows even faster: at the till, at the table and in the orders that no longer reach the kitchen.

We have managed critical IT infrastructures for over 20 years, for organizations across 12 industries, and we complement this with services from our Tier III datacenter in Timișoara.

Your clients' data sits in one place, but have you ever wondered who can reach it?

IT for services companies

Accounting, consulting, law, architecture, HoReCa, human resources, customer-support services, etc. Although their activity profiles differ, they face a similar problem: all of their clients' data is in one place, is accessible to more people than necessary and is protected by measures no one has documented.

Until recently, the question „who has access to our data?" appeared after an incident. Now it appears before the contract: in a large client's security questionnaire, in an insurer's form, in the data processing agreement received for signing. The difference between a written answer and an improvised one shows in how fast you sign.

With over 20 years in IT and more than 300 clients across 12 industries, we know what a company that has grown faster than its infrastructure looks like.

Six situations we encounter at service providers

All client data is in one place, with access for almost everyone.

It's usually on a file server or a shared cloud space, without a clear rights structure. No one can say exactly who sees what.

Confidentiality is a professional obligation, but there's no documentation to support it.

Accounting, law, consulting are activities with strict confidentiality obligations. When a large client sends a security questionnaire or an insurer asks for proof, the answer is built on the spot, and the contract is put on hold.

Each location works like an island.

Each restaurant or point of sale has its own connection, its own router and its own cash registers, with no central monitoring. When a location goes down during the rush hour, it later shows up in costs.

The systems fail exactly at activity peaks.

Reporting deadlines and year-end closings in a services firm; lunch, the weekend and the season in food & beverages. The day when everything has to work is the day the infrastructure is under the most strain.

The backup exists, but the restore hasn't been tested.

Files, contracts, accounting records, recipes, lot-traceability sheets are data that cannot be reconstituted. The question „how soon do we recover?" has no measured answer.

The entire infrastructure is in one person's head.

Or that of a supplier who only answers during office hours — even though clients, locations and deadlines don't stop at 5 p.m.

If you recognize two or three of the situations above, an assessment puts on paper where the risks are, what your clients require and what's worth remediating before the next activity peak. Schedule a conversation with our engineers.

The ITPS approach

Clear control of access to client data.

We structure access rights by role and by project, document who can see what and keep a verifiable record. So in case of an audit, you have a clear answer.

The documentation your clients ask for.

We work according to ISO 27001:2022 certified processes and build the security documentation together with you: access policies, a record of technical measures, data processing agreements. When a security questionnaire comes, the answer already exists in writing.

Monitoring at headquarters and in every location.

Through our Managed Services, critical systems are monitored continuously — the servers and applications at headquarters, but also the connections, network and POS in every location. We often intervene before staff notice. Response times are set by contract and SLA.

The same configuration in every location.

For networks with multiple locations, we standardize the infrastructure: the same configuration, documented and replicable. Opening a new location becomes a procedure, not a separate project.

Backup and documented restore tests.

We don't consider a backup functional until its restore has been tested and recorded. Data stays on Romanian territory, under European jurisdiction.

A whole team, not a single person.

The infrastructure is documented: configurations, procedures, intervention history. Continuity no longer depends on one person's memory. And if you already have an in-house IT specialist, we work alongside them, complementing their skills.

Coverage outside office hours.

Our contracts cover the intervals in which your company actually works, including evenings and weekends. We answer on Friday evening too: this is one of the reasons 95% of our clients choose to renew their contracts.

The relevant services for services companies

Of the six services we offer, four are of particular importance for a services company or for a food & beverages location network:

01

Managed Services →

Monitoring of systems at headquarters and in every location, with incident intervention and coverage contracted including for the periods before deadlines and for the weekend.

02

Backup & Disaster Recovery →

Backups for client files and records, for inventory management and traceability, with documented restore tests and data kept in Romania.

03

Virtual Servers (VPS) →

Business applications, inventory management and online orders run on infrastructure from our Tier III datacenter with predictable performance, without investing in your own hardware.

04

IT Audit & Consulting →

A complete analysis of the IT environment: who has access to what, what your clients require, where the fragile points of the location network are, which remediation takes priority.

Compliance and certifications

Services companies usually process their clients' data — in many cases under professional confidentiality obligations, in addition to those imposed by GDPR. In food & beverages, loyalty-program and online-order data is added. ITPS operates its own Tier III datacenter with ISO 27001:2022 (information security) and ISO 9001 (quality management) certifications, keeping data on Romanian territory. Compliance remains your organization's responsibility. What we do concretely: implement the technical measures, build the documentation that proves them and ensure the safety of your data.
